Horse Sledging!

The end of the first week here has come to a close, and what a blast it has been.  To cap off the week, we went horse sledging, and tobogganing as well as had a campfire in this tipi like structure.  It was lots of fun, and while it was cold, it was definitely not Manitoba cold. This was a great opportunity to meet more of the international students, and to interact with everyone. I also saw reindeer for the first time in Norway, and it was a neat surprise.  I really enjoyed it!  Also yesterday, the Northern Lights made an appearance, and they were out in full force.  It was a very clear evening, and I only saw them from a city prospective.  Next time they come out, I will be trying to find a nice open area to see them. I also woke up at 4:30 P.M.  When I woke up I had no idea, because it was dark and I thought it was morning.  Whoops! Here are a few pictures from the day.

  1. Horse sledging looks like fun, it would have been pretty cool to actually experience the Northern Lights as well.
